Letter from the Pastor
Thanks for visiting the Light House website!
The most important thing that I hope you see as you look through this site is that we are here for you. I know full well that there are so many different seasons throughout our lives. We're always changing, along with our circumstances, desires, hardships and needs. No matter what season of life you're weathering today, the Light House family is here to walk alongside of you.
The more I see how unsteady our lives can be, the more I realize that the only constant in life is intimately knowing Jesus Christ. Loving Him and sharing our lives with Him is the only security this life brings. Even when everything around us seems uncertain, we've got a promise from the Bible that says He is the Rock on which we stand and a sure foundation that we can rely on (see Psalm 31:3 and Psalm 40:2).
I want everyone who visits the Light House to experience the saving knowledge of Jesus and to help them cultivate a meaningful and close relationship with Him. As a result, our main goal is to spend time in our services worshiping and praising God to welcome in His Presence (Psalm 22:3), to build our faith by hearing the Word of God (Romans 10:17) and to spend time together as a family (Acts 2:46).
We want everyone who walks through our doors at Peoria Elementary School to feel loved, valued and welcome - no matter where you have been. We all have our stories, our own struggles and backgrounds, but the precious Blood of Jesus overcomes them all! We're not here to judge you or make you feel ashamed. We're here with open arms, waiting to receive you into our little family. I pray for the opportunity to meet you and serve you soon and remember....we're here for you!
