Who is God?
We believe that God exists in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
That he is perfectly holy, and that he is wholeheartedly and absolutely in love
with every human being alive on the earth today. He desires every person to come
into a relationship with Him through the saving knowledge of His Son, Jesus Christ.
Who is Man?
We believe that all mankind is born sinful and that we are in need of forgiveness
of sin and a restored relationship with God which can only be found through faith in
God's Savior, Jesus Christ.
Who is Christ?
We believe that Jesus is the eternal Son of God, was born of a virgin, lead a
sinless life, and that atonement from sin is made by His sacrificial death on the
cross and through the power of His shed blood. After Jesus died, He was raised to
life again as a necessary part of the redeption plan. This salvation from sin is God's
divine gift of grace and is received by faith. We also believe that human efforts
cannot bring us to salvation but rather, salvation is appropriated through faith in Christ alone.
Who is the Holy Spirit?
We believe that once Jesus is believed on for salvation, the Holy Spirit enables us
to overcome any and every sin and struggle and that He has the ability to save the uttermost.
We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the divine privilege of every believer, is
subsequent to and separate from salvation, and is bestowed to give victory over sin and
empowerment for Christian witness.
We believe that the gifts of the Holy Spirit are in operation in God's Church today and
we are needed to build, strengthen, encourage, and edify God's people. However, if we do not
possess love for God and His people, the use of these gifts is devoid of meaning.
Who is the Church?
We believe that one of the primary purposes of the Church of Jesus Christ is to provide
a refuge and a place where people of all nations and cultures - no matter their background -
can come and hear the saving power of Jesus.
We believe in the ordinances of the church as commanded by Jesus Chriust, the Lord's
Supper and water baptism by immersion and encourage al those who have been born again to
participate in both.
What is the Bible?
We beliebe that the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, is inspired by the Holy Spirit
and that it is free from error and has authority in the life of the believer. We also believe
that the eternal truths found therin can lead followers of Christ into victorious Christian
living if followed and applied, with God's help.
What is our Responsibility?
We believe that a true and intimate prayer life should characterise the life of genuine
believers. We believe that it is through prayer and praise that believers have companionship
with God, gain strength, wisdom, and insight, and is where love for God and His people
is renewed and refreshed. We also firmly believe that God hears and answers the requests of
those who abide in Him.
We believe that those whose lives have been changed through faith in Christ and the power
of the Holy Spirit have the awesome and wonderful responsibility of sharing Jesus Christ with
those who have not been saved by way of evangelism, witness, and holy living.
We believe that it should be the goal of every true follower of Jesus Christ to rely on the
help of the Holy Spirit to enable us to live out holy lives as an act of love and devotion to God.
What Happens When We Die?
We believe in eternal life with God in heaven for those who have been born again
and eternal punishment for those who reject Jesus as Savior.
